Day 1: Hanoi - Ba Be Lake
Today we depart from Hanoi to the mountain areas north of Hanoi, onwards to a drive on a 250-kilometer (155 miles) journey to Ba Be National Park. On the way you will have several scheduled stops for lunch and visiting Tay ethnic minority community, the second largest ethnic group in Vietnam after the Kinh, and mostly living by rice cultivation.
Arriving in Ba Be National Park, you will start a boat trip along Nang River to discover Ba Be Lake, Puong Grotto, the rapids of the Dau Dang Waterfall and tiny Widow Island. These poetic landscapes will bring you relaxing time with fresh air and green environment, so don’t forget your camera for nice photos.
Then in the afternoon, we will arrive to the stilt houses of the Tay community in local Village and also spend your night in a home-stay in the village. Meals: Lunch & Dinner

Day 2: Ba Be National Park - Hua Ma cave – Trung Khanh
After breakfast at the host family, we will take a short walk visit Hua Ma, a huge grotto with thousands of stalactites. After Lunch at Ba Be park Restaurant, We will then depart for Cao Bang City, frontier town which is inhabited mostly by the Nung ethnic minority people. They still retain their centuries old cultural traditions and are recognizably distinct from each other by their dress. The remoteness and the simple lifestyle of the area’s local people are highlights of Quang Uyen. Living conditions are very basic here.

Day 3: Trung Khanh – Nguom Ngao Cave – Ban Gioc Waterfall
After breakfast, We start the Trekking trip to “Than Giap” small hamlet and discover the local’s habitant and the fabulous nature. This excursion take the intrepid trekkers the difficult Challenge to pass, but when you feel running out of your energy amongst the mountains and hills, the sloping path will leads you downstream to the immense terrace-rice paddle field dotted with some farmers who are working. This scenery will freshen you up and you may be regretful if do not have the best picture for yourself. The new trekking road will lead you enter the new rugged gate of Nguom Ngao Cave. The untouched spectacular darkness inside the cave take you along the little stream and force you climb up the cliffs beside this stream to pass. The crazy path ever but exciting gets over all of the challenges and listened to its interesting legends will immerse you in the dar k and light cave.. Finish the trip, we will depart for Ban Gioc waterfall, which is closed to Vietnam’s northern border with China.
On the way to Ban Gioc Waterfall, you will see many terraced rice paddies dotted with some houses creating a peaceful and poetic landscape. Arrive at Ban Gioc, you will marvel at its spectacular beauty, which is worthy to be the Vietnam’s most beautiful waterfall. After spending some time relaxing and taking nice photos, You have an opportunity to raft nearly the Fall and feel the water blob wind to your face.

Day 4: Ban Gioc - Hanoi
On the last day, we transfer you back to Hanoi, you will enjoy the charming sceneries deeply reflecting the Northwest color: stunning limestone peaks, long-lasting lush paddy fields and untouched peaceful villages. To satisfy your desire of discovering, we will stop at an ethnic village known for its tobacco production, where you can not only learn more about the daily life of the locals but also enjoy the peace and tranquility. There is a stop for lunch before getting back to Hanoi city and ending the trip.
